26th Annual K9 Explosive & Drug Detection Seminar
November 6 – 9, 2023

Our Annual K9 Explosive & Drug Detection Seminar takes place for 4 days every November, with certification on the 4th day.

The explosives and drug detection seminar is designed to enhance a K9 Handler’s abilities.

Boost and hone your K9 handling skills; learn from revered K9 experts. Space is limited, so we recommend registering no later than October each year! Our K9 handler training seminar takes place in Florida and includes classroom and field exercises each day. After classroom instruction there’s field training utilizes storage units, warehouses, vehicles, boats, an airport, and a hotel.

Fee: $450 or $455 with certification

What to Bring:

K9 handlers must provide a K9 and all K9 equipment required for the seminar.  This equipment may include leashes, collars, Vari-Kennel, food and water bowls, K9 food, rewards, grooming gear, etc.  Depending on the season, K9 handlers should also bring inclement weather gear, insect repellent, sun screen. A human hydration system, such as a Camelbak® is recommended for all seasons.  Students should wear a utility uniform that’s approved by their organization.
