Hard Surface K-9 Tracking Seminar

This is a 3-day seminar with 24 hours of instruction. The class will comprise both of classroom instruction and fieldwork. The class will be open only to LE K-9 handlers and supervisors.

Topics Covered: Students will be taught how to start their K-9 partners on hard surfaces typically found in urban environments. K-9s will be taught to successfully track through environments that hold little ground disturbance odor and will focus only on human odor. K-9s will learn solid scent discrimination through this process. This is an advanced tracking course, suitable for teams who have completed a basic tracking course.

Cost: $300: Includes all instruction, classroom training materials, kennels for dogs and three nights lodging for participants.
