This two-day seminar is absolutely essential for any K-9 team that tracks criminal suspects. Training focuses on preparing canine handlers, backup officers, and incident commanders how to maximize Officer Safety and Decrease Liability for canine deployments to locate and apprehend criminal suspects. A portion of the training includes learning from the mistakes of several recent K-9 deployments which proved fatal for the K-9 handlers who unfortunately did not employ the highly effective tactics which will be taught in this course. Training in the field will focus on increasingly intense & realistic searches through urban, residential, and rural environments during day and night exercises simulating real world deployments. This course is designed for handlers of any experience level and will significantly increase the abilities of your K-9 team to safely and efficiently locate and apprehend criminal suspects.
