SAR K9 teams undertake recovery training
Have you ever wondered what time smells like? Your dog may be able to help.
Over the weekend, Northwest K9 Search and Recovery (SAR) brought 25 handlers and their dogs from six states and Canada to the Cody area for a three-day seminar led by K.T. Irwin on the detection of human remains. Irwin, who founded Northwest K9 and serves as a team leader for the volunteer organization, has worked in search and rescue since 1998.
