Schroyer, Lance

Lance Schroyer has 23 years of law enforcement experience and 11 years as a K-9 handler assigned to the Interdiction Unit. Lance is currently assigned to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol’s Tactical Team as Team Commander and the K-9 Coordinator. Lance has been a member of the OHP Tactical Team since 2002 and spent five years as the tactical dog handler for the Team. Prior to law enforcement, Lance spent four years in the Marine Corps as an Alpha Company Raider.


CLASS: K-9 Tactical / S.W.A.T  Debrief

Lance will debrief two critical incidents where tactical K-9s were deployed. Lance will cover the importance and the tactical advantage a well-trained K-9 gave their team in two high risk calls that both ended up in shots fired. This presentation will benefit all patrol K-9 teams, SWAT operators and all levels of supervision.
