Sunshine Coast SAR responds to two calls in one day, including Grouse Mountain search
Sunshine Coast Search and Rescue (SCSAR) volunteers had a demanding day Tuesday, Nov. 18, answering two separate calls for help — one on Grouse Mountain and another in Sprockids Park.
The day began early when North Shore Rescue requested assistance locating an 84-year-old hiker missing since Sunday afternoon on Grouse Mountain. SCSAR deployed its K9 team, handler Joyce Tattersall and her dog Zulu, along with team member Will, to join the search.
